The digital age has really changed technology, like how tape cassettes changed the vinyl record. CDs came along almost banishing tapes, with digital downloads many of us don’t use CDs either. But that’s not to say that Redbook CDs should be obsolete. The value of this technology is still there with great sound recording and being able to hook it up directly to a computer.
