Experts opine on optimal methods for installing projector and display mounts. Generally, there are two categories of display mounts. The first is a “screw set” mount that uses a hardware kit to adjust image alignment. The second are mounts with a gear mechanism for adjustment with the turn of a knob. According to the experts surveyed, the screw set mounts are often cheaper than those with gear mechanisms, but the gear mechanisms often are easier-functioning. The experts agree that uniformity in the industry is making mounting displays and projectors easier.
