Stanley Jordan, a professional jazz guitarist, was lucky enough to be noticed by another music legend – Frank Zappa. Jordan’s story begins in the Waldorf Hotel where he able to meet Zappa in the hallway. After pleading with Zappa, Zappa allowed Jordan to show him a few riffs on the guitar – and Zappa was thoroughly impressed.
