I came across this post by Bobby Owsinski on his blog bobbyowsinski.blogspot.com which I thought was pretty interesting. Apple, in keeping up with the latest technology, has announced the new “mastered for I Tunes Program.” This means the consumer is getting a much higher quality resolution from their music source. Basically Apple “intervenes” with a music source available on Itunes and encodes it to the highest quality sound avaialble before transferring it back to the consumer.
