Today I want to talk to you about why you should fill out the free room acoustic analysis form on our website. In order for me to help you understand the problems that you have in your room I need to know certain basic information. No doubt you know that you have low frequency pressure issues in your rooms that won’t fit, we all know that most rooms today are too small to handle the low end and we’re always having low end issues.
Reflections off those surfaces are critical also in our evaluations because the smaller the room, the smaller the dimension, the more reflections interfere with the sound that you want to hear out of your speakers. So it’s always this push-pull between size and pressure and reflection issues.
Another advantage we have is, we have a one hundred and sixteen room built, tested and measured database. It’s very extensive. It’s an eight-year project so we have a lot of data that we can compare to your particular room size.
If your room is too small, it’s too small and I’ll be very upfront with you and tell you that. If it’s workable then we can work on addressing the pressure, reflections and compare it with our database and come up with some solutions. You can fill in the form by going here now.
Identification is key: With the database and your dimensions on the form, we can identify what your specific frequency problems are.
Location: we can also identify, with a high degree of certainty because of our database, where those frequency issues and problems exist within your room and then assign the appropriate treatment. Without knowing what your problems are, how can we identify, locate and treat them? We can’t.
When you go to a doctor you get a blood test. He reads the result, says “Ah, you need these, you need that”. Well this is why you should fill out the free room acoustic analysis form for this is our acoustical blood test if you will. It helps us with identification, location and treatment.
One size does not fit all
We are not a company, where one size and one treatment fits all. We take each customer’s situation individually, look at your usage, your objectives and what are you trying to achieve.
For example, is your room a listening room? The objectives of a listening room are different than the objectives of a control room. The objectives of a control room are different than the requirements of a home theater room, and so on.
So each room usage has its own set of situations as far as treatment goes, but the three main issues that filling out the room form will help us analyse for you are low frequency management issues, the reflection issues and a comparison to our database.
Turnaround time is under a week
The turnaround time on this submission is about a week depending on how busy I am as I actually review each submission personally and compare it to our database. So when you fill out the form, the response you’re getting is from my analysis. To access the form click here now.
Here’s looking forward to receiving your data and let’s find out what your acoustical problems are, let’s find out where they’re located and let’s definitely treat them.
Thank you
Dennis
There may be apps that do that. You can definitely find spectrum analyzers that will measure ultra low.
Is there an APP that can measure the ultra low frequency levels?

Hi Dennis I'm curious what you think of acoustic perforated plaster - say CST Galaxy -on particularly ceilings in music…
