The Golden Age of American Rock for many is between the 1960’s and the beginning of the 1990’s. This is a good documentary by the BBC that goes through this era and shows why this is such an important and influential time for rock music. This was a time of rebellion for many musicians and it showed in the type of music that they performed. Many of today’s music groups have imitated several of the groups that were big many years ago.
