Hi everyone,
I’m looking for improve the listenig experience of my room by on budget DIY solutions.
Its a new world to me all this things like frequenci response, room modes, difusion, absortion etc. I have to speedup the learning curve as much as I can and the ACF youtube channel has been big helpfull. Thanks Dennis for that rare generosity.
Im about to receive 30 sheets of 2x4x2″ rockwool (48Kg/m3) to do some corner bass traps and absorber pannels that will have BAD diffuser in front of it, just by accident. All decisions about the treatment to be aplied and the rockwool order was made just before find the option to buy the All In One DIY Acoustic Treatment Build Plans Package at Acoustic Fields website.
I’d like to rethink all the plans based on possibility to suit the treatment wiht the decisions guided by the Acoustic Field knowhow but I’m not shure.
I will dig here in this forum for information and other peoples experiences and make a decision.
I filled the form of room analisys yesterday.
Tks
R, You are adding sound absorption technology into your room. You must know the rate and level of absorption for what you are installing. Roxul does not have the required rates and levels for music and voice. Fill out the information in this link. Lets take a look at your room first and identify the low, middle, and high frequency issues you have based upon your room size and usage. After we identify the usage and the associated issues, we can then prescribe the correct treatments.
