I am Knut located in norway.
My current setup consists of a Nad M3,Marantz NA8005 and an old pair of Snell B minor speakers.
In acoustic regards, my house i useless.
So, resently i’ve come up with a plan of building a new car garage with a secondfloor dedicated 2channel listening room .
Still in the early planingstages, but i’ve gotten to the point of possible roomdimensions.
Length and with is workable(23-24feet x16feet.
However… ceiling hight and shape will be a challange.
Hight will heavely depend on how tall the city will alove me to build. But sadly i won’t get near 14feet
Ceiling will symetricly slope from center of room down to the sidewalls, maybe 8,5-9feet down to arround 5feet
Floorbeams will be 2×12″, hoping i can utellize carbon in the floor.
