Hello,
I bumped into the vids on youtube last night and must say I’m now pretty much hooked!
After many years in my house I’ve gotten to the point in the renovation where I’m finally finishing my dining room, which will double as my listening room . It’s naturally pretty awful as a listening room , but I will do what I can to improve it.
It’ll be brick walls, plasterboard ceiling, suspended wood parquet floor and solid oak furniture, and not that big, just for a challenge.
I’m thinking on some absorption panels, corner bass traps, and two different types of diffuser . When I get better pictures I’ll fill out the room guide on the website and see what the plan is. I’m looking forward to all the building, so will buy the set of plans and go from there I guess. I am in the UK so shipping some elements for the build (charcoal stuff for the bass traps etc) would make sense, but not all of it.
I actually really like the arty wooden block diffusers you get, something like https://www.etsy.com/uk/listin…..d-wall-art, I understand they may not be great but it has too look like a nice dining room as well. I can probably get away with a quadratic diffuser on the chimney breast behind my main listening position though, so long as it also looks nicer.
I can’t quite figure out how to add pics at the moment, but when I do I’ll post some room plans, images and anything else that is of relevance.
Anyway thanks for the videos and the website.
