A Big Hello from London UK-Acoustics Forum-Acoustic Fields Forum

Hi everyone, my head is literally pounding from finding Dennis’s video and trying to absorb something which really is entirely a new space for me. My name is Fraser, I’m an actor and voice over artist mostly based in the UK but I work a lot overseas. Since last March my fairly frequent voice overs have turned to dust as I haven’t been set up for them at home. I also do self tape auditions from home regularly so my reason for seeking guidance is twofold.

Despite attempting to break my brain this afternoon trying to understand sound waves, I’m very happy to have found Acoustic Fields on youtube and thankfully I’ve found it at the right time as I’m about to build a garden room that can handle voice overs and self tapes :)

Before finding Dennis this afternoon I was planning to use building insulation, 2 x drywall sandwiched in-between Green Glue! I’d never heard of carbon for this use until today. Just wow! I may post the odd question, please take a moment to have a look. Be great to get the benefit of members with understanding.
