Hi, Dennis– Would it make sense to use the MDW mini diffusers on the ceiling in a home theater room with a 7.5′ height? Otherwise I would think only the QD7s would work. thanks!
M, If your goal is to diffuser higher frequencies, then mini diffusers are a good choice. The ceiling of a theater room would require more broadband diffusion, so you would use the QD-7.
Thank you, Dennis. I realize now I may have a big problem that might defeat diffuser treatment on the front wall and ceiling anyway… my 65″ Plasma. Big piece of glass front and center that can’t be covered!
But I am interested in building BDAs… I don’t see info on your activated carbon on the website, do I just call you for that?
Thanks
M, For theater rooms, use diffusion on the ceiling and rear wall. Use absorption for front and side walls. Contact me at info@acousticfields.com for carbon.
