Hello Dennis and everyone,
I have a room with the following Ratio: 1Hx1.68Wx2.31L. Ceiling is 8′.
Standard 2×4 framing and 1/2″ dry wall. Floor is carpeted.
Speakers are Kii Audio Three studio monitors.
This is a room that’s available in my house to use as a dedicated listening room .
Checking with you all to see if its worthwhile to persue.
Thanks for your help.
Tim
Room ratios are only a guide to start with. What you must decide is are you going to treat the low frequency issues within the room or not. Treatment for low-frequency issues takes 12″ of space on each wall surface area. This additional 12″ will change the ratio thus possibly producing improper ratios.
