Filling speaker stands with activated carbon?

Hi,

What is the benefit of adding activated carbon inside of a speaker stand versus lead balls or kiln dried sand?

What would be the cost to fill 4 cubic feet using your activated carbon?

Carbon is a sound absorption technology. Lead and sand are barrier material types. You must stay with sound absorption inside any diaphragmatic absorber .
