Hi Dennis, thank you for all you are doing.

For a non-carbon BDA, Can I replace the front 3/8″ MDF wall with 1/2″ MDF,
and use 3/4″ MDF for the 2nd wall?

There is no 3/8″ MDF available anywhere.

Use 1/2″ for the front wall. Use 3/4″ for wall two.

I really appreciate your time.
I will be building the BDA‘s, a few at a time.
Then order a CPA eventually.
I am a retired Army drummer, and have recently graduated from Omega Studio’s School of Recording Arts and Sciences,
as well as The Blackbird Academy.
I plan on building a tracking/mix room when we find a permanent home here in Nashville.

Thnx for sharring your time and vast experience.
I really enjoy your videos , as I’ve watched so many of them by now.
I have so much to learn still but enjoying every minute of it.
