1. Can one use quadratic 17 diffuser
on front wall if one has 13 on back wall?
Also, what is minimal distance between front wall diffusers and the rear of speakers?

D, D,
Yes, a P-17 is 55″ wide so you must have 65″ between your speakers. The P-17 has a full octave diffusion below the P-13. We have a custom P-23 that we designed that is 42.5″ wide and 16″ deep. If you could fit 2, you would need 90″ between speakers, you could get 2 octaves better than the P-13. That is like getting a new speaker system. Rear of speaker to diffuser is 12″.
Ok,, so the diffusion panels have to be between AND behind the speakers ? I was under the assumption that we are putting a bank of diffusion panels across the whole front wall behind the speakers. I would definitely love to do the P – 23’s ,,, I could definitely get close to 90 inches between the speakers. Please inform, thanks !
