Just wondering if sand has been tested and compared to carbon in a diaphragmatic absorber
? Or another similar medium?
Thanks
?
That is a very interesting question. My brother was in construction and I remember him saying that he put sand in the walls on a project for sound management. Not sure how many inches wide they used. The sand is more dense for sure, but it would have a lower surface area (not porous) to absorb sound waves compared to the carbon pellets Dennis uses.
