Dennis,
I am a new member. Please help me out with the following:
a) Basement Room dimensions: 15 ft by 32 ft by 8 ft
b) Speakers are 7 ft away from front wall
c) Listener is 10 ft away from speakers
d) Backwall is 15 ft from listener
e) GIK acoustics 244 absorption
panels (5.25″ thick) are lined up on front wall behind speakers.
I would like to trial the 56″ by 2″ by 75″ panels listed here: https://www.acousticfields.com…..ame-panel/
Since back wall is 15 ft from listener, i assume it is not the first priority. Could installing the 56″ by 2″ by 75″ panels, one each on either side of the listener on side walls be the first priority?
On the second installment, i can purchase & install two 56″ by 2″ by 75″ Acoustic Field panels on the ceiling. Is this the right approach?
On the third installment, If i were to replace the front wall GIK panels with Acoustic Field panels, what would the right panel for front wall?
Thank you,
