The 23rd International Congress on Sound & Vibration (ICSV23) was held in Athens, Greece, from 10 to 14 July 2016 in cooperation with the Hellenic Institute of Acoustics (HELINA) and the Hellenic Institute of Transportation Engineers (HITE).

Maria Kousi’s abstract The Athens Research Centre For Music Acoustics And Architecture; Integrated Acoustical Design Of The Multipurpose Auditorium is part of an educational architecture project, which is going to be implemented in central Athens. “The development involves, amongst other spaces, a multipurpose auditorium of high acoustic flexibility which seats a maximum of 350 persons.” Kousi suggests Acoustic Fields’ ACDA-12 CSM (Ceiling System Module), among other acoustic treatment technologies, to manage low and middle frequency absorption within the auditorium.
